Korean FDI in Vietnam hits US$3.56 billion year-to-date, with strong October performance

Korean foreign direct investment in Vietnam has reached US$3.56 billion across 330 projects year-to-date, demonstrating steady growth and reaffirming Korea’s position as one of Vietnam’s top investors.

October 2024 saw a notable rise in Korean FDI, with 76 new projects valued at US$663 million. This marked a significant increase compared to September, which recorded only 26 projects worth US$1.05 billion. The surge in October highlights the continued confidence of Korean investors in Vietnam’s economic potential.

Year-to-date figures show Korea as a key player in Vietnam’s FDI landscape, contributing significantly to the country’s total FDI inflows. Key sectors driving this investment include manufacturing, technology, and real estate.

The strong performance in October further solidifies Vietnam’s reputation as an attractive destination for foreign investors, with Korea leading the charge among its major economic partners.
