This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $1,398,631,463.
In July 2025, the top five origins by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of Paper were:
China
China was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $88,282,880.
This represents a 7.60 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $541,151,311, accounting for 38.69 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Indonesia
Indonesia followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $32,397,727.
This figure indicates a 19.19 percent month-on-month increase.
Indonesia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $206,013,307, representing 14.73 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in July with imports totaling $25,990,307.
This indicates a significant 33.48 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of Paper is $152,410,656, making up 10.90 percent of the total YTD imports.
Malaysia
Malaysia contributed $19,865,156 worth of paper in July.
Notably, Malaysia experienced a substantial 48.91 percent month-on-month increase.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $96,794,297, accounting for 6.92 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five import origins with $19,378,357 in July imports.
This country saw a 9.02 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $133,906,502, representing 9.57 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
