China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $244,108,129.
This represents a -14.88 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $1,480,638,658, accounting for 68.24 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $36,049,380.
This figure indicates a -5.37 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $210,454,526, representing 9.70 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Japan
Japan secured the third position in June with imports totaling $14,672,830.
This indicates a 14.59 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of insulated wires and cables is $75,517,553, making up 3.48 percent of the total YTD imports.
Thailand
Thailand contributed $9,571,272 worth of insulated wires and cables in June.
Notably, Thailand experienced a -14.94 percent month-on-month decrease.
Thailand’s year-to-date total for these imports is $58,403,730, accounting for 2.69 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Philippines
The Philippines rounded out the top five import sources with $9,178,754 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 16.43 percent month-on-month increase.
The Philippines’ year-to-date total for these imports is $47,003,892, representing 2.17 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
