China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $315,323,280.
This represents a 1.35 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $1,751,232,513, accounting for 44.69 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
Taiwan
Taiwan followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $55,678,772.
This figure indicates a 10.90 percent month-on-month change.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $319,669,718, representing 8.16 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
USA
The USA secured the third position in June with imports totaling $48,356,054.
This indicates a -3.46 percent month-on-month change.
The USA’s year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of Chemicals is $244,491,682, making up 6.24 percent of the total YTD imports.
Malaysia
Malaysia contributed $46,514,537 worth of Chemicals in June.
Notably, Malaysia experienced a significant positive month-on-month growth of 9.59 percent.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $239,266,171, accounting for 6.11 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five import sources with $37,991,544 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 9.06 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $243,915,367, representing 6.22 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
