Heesung expands investment in Trang Due Industrial Park by US$125 million

Heesung, a South Korean investor and close partner of LG Group, has announced an increase of US$125 million in its project at Trang Due Industrial Park. This expansion raises the total investment capital to US$279 million, according to an announcement from the Hai Phong City People’s Committee.

The project specialises in manufacturing and assembling automatic positioning liquid crystal module components, with a production capacity of 10.5 million units annually. It has created employment opportunities for nearly 400 workers and supports Vietnam’s export economy with an average annual export value of US$100 million, the announcement says.

Heesung’s close collaboration with LG Group highlights its strategic importance in the high-tech manufacturing supply chain. This latest capital increase reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its operations and furthering its contributions to Vietnam’s industrial development.
