Vietnam’s yarn exports reached $371,209,645 in July 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This represents a 7.50 percent increase compared to June, and this strong performance contributed to a year-to-date total of $2,451,508,523.
Here are the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s yarn exports in July 2025:
China
China was Vietnam’s largest export market for yarn in July, with values soaring to $192,540,213.
This marks a 13.65 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total stands at $1,146,037,516, accounting for 46.75 percent of all YTD yarn exports.
South Korea
South Korea was the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $28,102,368.
This represents a 3.94 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $214,766,105, making up 8.76 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
USA
The USA secured the third position in July with exports totaling $21,063,574.
This indicates a 0.15 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s yarn exports is $139,343,120, making up 5.68 percent of the total YTD exports.
Bangladesh
Bangladesh contributed $16,601,471 worth of yarn in July.
This country saw an 8.09 percent month-on-month increase.
Bangladesh’s year-to-date total for these exports is $102,287,255, accounting for 4.17 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Taiwan
Taiwan rounded out the top five export destinations with $9,893,673 in July exports.
This country saw a 10.96 percent month-on-month increase.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $73,394,548, representing 2.99 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
