Vietnam’s exports of textiles and garments saw an increase in July 2025, reaching $3,910,792,868, an 8.72 percent increase compared to June 2025, according to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $22,588,956,238.
In July 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of textiles and garments were:
USA
The USA was the top destination in July, with export values reaching $1,823,460,277.
This represents a 4.31 percent month-on-month increase from June.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $10,293,511,674, accounting for 45.57 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with July exports valued at $418,155,657.
This figure indicates an 8.65 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $2,528,959,976, representing 11.20 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
South Korea
South Korea secured the third position in July with exports totaling $258,972,172.
This indicates a significant 53.33 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of textiles and garments is $1,595,066,839, making up 7.06 percent of the total YTD exports.
China
China contributed $178,745,692 worth of these products in July.
Notably, China experienced a 50.57 percent month-on-month increase.
China’s year-to-date total for these exports is $772,343,188, accounting for 3.42 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Netherlands
The Netherlands rounded out the top five export destinations with $137,526,749 in July exports.
This country saw a 0.93 percent month-on-month increase.
The Netherlands’ year-to-date total for these exports is $773,303,151, representing 3.42 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
