This modest month-on-month decline contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category standing at $593,628,988.
In June 2025, the top five destinations by dollar value for Vietnam’s exports of pastry, sweets, and cereals products were:
USA
The USA emerged as the top destination in June, with export values reaching $15,929,071.
This represents a -14.26 percent month-on-month change from May.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these exports stands at $92,648,298, accounting for 15.61 percent of all YTD exports in this category.
Japan
Japan followed as the second-largest destination, with June exports valued at $10,725,351.
This figure indicates a -5.60 percent month-on-month change.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these exports is $64,528,990, representing 10.87 percent of the total YTD exports for this product category.
Other
The “Other” category secured the third position in June with exports totaling $9,573,502.
This indicates a 3.49 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s exports of pastry, sweets, and cereals products is $56,647,168, making up 9.54 percent of the total YTD exports.
South Korea
South Korea contributed $7,848,623 worth of pastry, sweets, and cereals products in June.
Notably, South Korea experienced a 17.36 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these exports is $44,823,726, accounting for 7.55 percent of the total YTD exports for this product.
Cambodia
Cambodia rounded out the top five export destinations with $6,907,021 in June exports.
This country saw a 7.86 percent month-on-month increase.
Cambodia’s year-to-date total for these exports is $37,523,274, representing 6.32 percent of the total YTD exports for this category.
