China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $63,732,611.
This represents a 15.92 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $402,255,382, accounting for 33.48 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $49,461,174.
This figure indicates an 11.37 percent month-on-month change.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $296,836,081, representing 24.71 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
New Zealand
New Zealand secured the third position in June with imports totaling $23,643,644.
This indicates a 30.94 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of fruits and vegetables is $64,976,665, making up 5.41 percent of the total YTD imports.
Myanmar
Myanmar contributed $18,079,642 worth of fruits and vegetables in June.
Notably, Myanmar experienced a 45.23 percent month-on-month increase.
Myanmar’s year-to-date total for these imports is $67,755,223, accounting for 5.64 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Australia
Australia rounded out the top five import sources with $11,275,900 in June imports.
This country showed strong positive momentum with a 22.61 percent month-on-month increase.
Australia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $66,050,702, representing 5.50 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
