This positive month-on-month growth contributed to a year-to-date total for this product category, standing at $5,877,425,152.
In July 2025, the top five origins by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of telephones, mobile phones and parts thereof were:
China
China remained the dominant origin in July, with import values reaching $762,267,491.
This represents an 11.13 percent month-on-month increase from June.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $5,135,968,316, accounting for 87.38 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $52,826,655.
This figure indicates a 50.33 percent month-on-month increase.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $225,460,484, representing 3.84 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Taiwan
Taiwan secured the third position in July with imports totaling $3,970,329.
This indicates a 26.12 percent month-on-month increase.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of telephones, mobile phones and parts thereof is $15,321,985, making up 0.26 percent of the total YTD imports.
India
India contributed $392,369 worth of telephones, mobile phones and parts thereof in July.
Notably, India experienced a -9.63 percent month-on-month decrease.
India’s year-to-date total for these imports is $9,906,722, accounting for 0.17 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Japan
Japan rounded out the top five import origins with $298,598 in July imports.
This country saw a significant 96.24 percent month-on-month increase.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $1,958,357, representing 0.03 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
