Despite the overall month-on-month decrease, several countries remain vital suppliers to Vietnam, with the year-to-date total for this product category standing at $67,900,443,973.
In June 2025, the top five sources by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof were:
China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $4,432,791,393.
This represents a -6.55 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $23,517,807,252, accounting for 34.64 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $2,840,155,741.
This figure indicates a -13.04 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $17,454,035,014, representing 25.71 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Taiwan
Taiwan secured the third position in June with imports totaling $1,841,946,790.
This indicates a -12.51 percent month-on-month change.
Taiwan’s year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof is $10,220,222,646, making up 15.05 percent of the total YTD imports.
Japan
Japan contributed $583,628,172 worth of computers, electrical products, spare-parts and components thereof in June.
Notably, Japan experienced a positive month-on-month growth of 6.31 percent.
Japan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $3,689,874,733, accounting for 5.43 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Malaysia
Malaysia rounded out the top five import sources with $364,396,667 in June imports.
This country saw a -8.92 percent month-on-month decrease.
Malaysia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $1,781,540,227, representing 2.62 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
