Despite this month-on-month decline, the year-to-date total for this product category stood at $858,081,679.
In July 2025, the top five origins by dollar value for Vietnam’s imports of milk and milk products were:
New Zealand
New Zealand was the top origin in July, with import values reaching $38,220,592.
This represents a slight -0.12 percent month-on-month decrease from June.
New Zealand’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $268,232,885, accounting for 31.26 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
USA
The USA followed as the second-largest origin, with July imports valued at $13,097,893.
This figure indicates a -8.66 percent month-on-month decrease.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $68,809,081, representing 8.02 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Germany
Germany secured the third position in July with imports totaling $10,716,867.
This indicates a -6.98 percent month-on-month decrease.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of milk and milk products is $49,170,757, making up 5.73 percent of the total YTD imports.
Other
The “Other” category contributed $10,486,338 worth of milk and milk products in July.
Notably, this category experienced a -1.96 percent month-on-month decrease.
The year-to-date total for this category is $62,594,166, accounting for 7.29 percent of the total YTD imports.
Australia
Australia rounded out the top five import origins with $9,714,267 in July imports.
This country saw a 16.43 percent month-on-month increase.
Australia’s year-to-date total for these imports is $76,085,711, representing 8.87 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
