China
China emerged as the top supplier in June, with import values reaching $267,386,119.
This represents a -7.19 percent month-on-month change from May.
China’s year-to-date total for these imports stands at $1,579,963,467, accounting for 41.58 percent of all YTD imports in this category.
South Korea
South Korea followed as the second-largest source, with June imports valued at $71,971,240.
This figure indicates a 1.00 percent month-on-month change.
South Korea’s year-to-date total for these imports is $426,235,994, representing 11.22 percent of the total YTD imports for this product category.
Japan
Japan secured the third position in June with imports totaling $51,144,812.
This indicates a -4.52 percent month-on-month change.
Its year-to-date contribution to Vietnam’s imports of chemical products is $312,197,341, making up 8.22 percent of the total YTD imports.
USA
The USA contributed $41,756,771 worth of chemical products in June.
Notably, the USA experienced a significant positive month-on-month growth of 10.78 percent.
The USA’s year-to-date total for these imports is $206,232,219, accounting for 5.43 percent of the total YTD imports for this product.
Taiwan
Taiwan rounded out the top five import sources with $36,932,860 in June imports.
This country saw a substantial -16.15 percent month-on-month decrease.
Taiwan’s year-to-date total for these imports is $243,568,404, representing 6.41 percent of the total YTD imports for this category.
