Aquaculture: Vietnam’s processed seafood output rises sharply in first five months of 2025

Vietnam produced an estimated 0.60 million tonnes of processed seafood in May 2025, up from 0.57 million tonnes in April, according to Vietnam’s National Statistics Office.

Key details:

  • April 2025 output: 0.57 million tonnes

  • Cumulative 5-month output: 2.70 million tonnes
  • May year-on-year change: +10.3 percent
