Vietnam’s VN-Index down 56.64 points, foreign traders net-sell US$19.20 million, Monday
The VN-Index closed at 1,591.17, down 56.64 points or 3.44 percent, with a total trading value of VND 29,259.80 billion or US$1110.43 million, and foreign traders net-selling US$19.20 million worth of equities, Monday, according to the latest data from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
Vietnam C.bank weakens central exchange rate, black market dong weaker, March 23, 2026
On March 23, in Vietnam, the black market US dollar buy rate was VND 27,950, and the sell rate was VND 28,000, a change of 250, and 250, respectively, for a mid-market rate of VND 27,975 (up 0.90 percent), according to prices quoted by Ty Gia USD.
Vietnam exports to Indonesia down 16.97% February 2026 MoM / textiles & garments -19.66% , iron and steel +11.02%
In February, Vietnam exported US$407 million worth of goods to Indonesia, down 16.97 percent over January, according to preliminary data from Vietnam’s General Department of Customs.
