The VN-Index has closed down 7.83 points or .71 percent to close Friday hovering at 1,102.30. Foreign traders had a super active day trading around US$264 million worth of stocks but overall net-selling US$60.6 million. The number of stock trading accounts in Vietnam has fallen for a second consecutive month, according to data from the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation.
