VN-Index closes up, foreign traders net-sell US$14.9 million, January 2

The VN-Index has finished the first trading day of the new year up slightly. It gained 1.79 points or .16 percent in the day’s trade, closing at 1,131.72. Foreign traders, however, returned to net-selling US$14.6 million worth of Vietnam’s stocks.
