Vietnam’s housing and construction material prices show mixed trends in 2024

Vietnam’s Consumer Price Index–CPI–data for September 2024 showed a steady increase in housing and construction material prices of 4.37 compared to September 2023. Prices were also up 3.59 percent over December of last year.

Furthermore, from January to September 2024 housing and construction material prices increased by 5.33 percent over the same period in 2023.

This steady increase suggests that, despite some month-to-month fluctuations, broader market forces are driving up costs for housing and construction materials.
