Vietnam’s beer production increases by 11.8% in February 2025

Vietnam’s beer production has seen a notable increase in the first two months of 2025. According to the latest data from Vietnam’s General Office of Statistics, the country produced 341.1 million litres of beer in January 2025. In February, this figure decreased to 302.4 million litres.

The cumulative total for the first two months of the year reached 643.5 million litres. This represents an 11.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the year-to-date figure reflects a 1.3 percent increase when compared to the first two months of 2024, indicating steady growth in the beer sector.

Beer remains one of Vietnam’s most popular alcoholic beverages, with increasing demand both domestically and for export.

The major beer production areas in Vietnam are concentrated in the northern and southern regions, with large-scale breweries located in cities like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Binh Duong. These facilities focus on producing a variety of beer types to meet the growing consumer demand.
