Vietnam solar project struggles after project approval breaches

A power generator in Southern Vietnam has reported that key infrastructure projects it is working on are at risk of being delayed as a result of the state power provider, EVN, failing to pay for the power it has provided, VN Express is reporting. The problem appears to have been created by the developer extending the size of the project beyond what it was approved for. This has led to EVN not paying for the electricity it has provided that was generated outside of the licenced area.
