Meanwhile, the State Bank of Vietnam’s central exchange rate was set at VND 25,072, while the Google Finance mid-market rate stood at VND 26,300.
The spread between the SBV’s central exchange rate and black-market mid-market rates was VND 2,353 or 9.38 percent.

Interbank interest rates
Vietnam’s interbank interest rates rose across most tenors.
The overnight rate increased to 4.47 percent (up 0.51 points).
The 1-week rate rose to 5.28 percent, and the 2-week rate rose to 5.58 percent.
The 1-month rate increased to 7.69 percent, while the 3-month and 6-month rates rose to 8.05 and 8.11 percent respectively.
The 9-month tenor was unchanged at 7.82 percent.
