On March 10, in Vietnam, the black market US dollar buy rate was VND 27,150 and the sell rate was VND 27,200, a change of 0 and 0, respectively, for a mid-market rate of VND 27,175 (down 0.00 percent), according to prices quoted by Ty Gia USD.
Meanwhile, the State Bank of Vietnam’s central exchange rate was set at VND 25,062, while the Google Finance mid-market rate stood at VND 26,233.
The spread between the SBV’s central exchange rate and black-market mid-market rates was VND 2,113 or 8.43 percent.

Interbank interest rates
Vietnam’s interbank interest rates fell across most tenors.
The overnight rate decreased to 4.61 percent (down 1.13 points).
The 1-week rate fell to 5.20 percent, and the 2-week rate fell to 6.15 percent.
The 1-month rate increased to 7.24 percent, while the 3-month and 6-month rates fell to 7.56 and rose to 8.38 percent respectively.
The 9-month tenor was unchanged at 7.82 percent.
