China’s Victory Giant Technology is building a US$260 million circuit board manufacturing facility in northern Vietnam’s Bac Ninh province, The Investor is reporting. The facility is set to cover 10.36 hectares and produce 5,000 square metres of circuit boards a year when it is fully up and running which is estimated to be in 2026.
The electronics manufacturing industry in Vietnam has grown rapidly, becoming a key player in the global supply chain. With its strategic location in Southeast Asia, Vietnam offers competitive labour costs, a young and relatively skilled workforce, and increasingly sophisticated infrastructure.
As a result, Vietnam has attracted significant investments from global electronics giants such as Samsung, LG, and Intel, which have established large production facilities here. They have also helped to develop Vietnam’s electronics manufacturing industry which, in turn, is now attracting even greater investment, the aforementioned circuit board factory, for example.
