It was then questioned last week as reports surfaced that the deal announced was not what had been agreed to.
The Vietnamese government, however, had been mum on the matter.
That now appears to have changed, with this statement from the Vietnamese Prime Minister suggesting that negotiations, from the perspective of Vietnam’s negotiators, may not be over.
