Total trading value reached VND 33.92 trillion or US$1.3 billion, with mid-caps and real estate stocks leading the advance, according to data from the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange→view source.

- VNMIDCAP jumped 2.28 percent
- VNREAL surged 3.39 percent
- VNIND gained 2.75 percent
- VNENE was the only sectoral index in the red, down 0.28 percent
