Industrial real estate: Singaporean developer starts US$60 million factory project in northern Vietnam

Singapore-based industrial property developer Soilbuild International has broken ground on a US$60 million ready-built industrial facility in northern Vietnam’s Hung Yen province, The Investor has reported→view source.

  • Project scale: Spectrum Hung Yen will provide 74,225 square metres of ready-built factory space, with a gross floor area of 52,000 square metres in its first phase. Of the total US$60 million investment, US$34 million is allocated to this initial stage.
  • Strategic location: Situated 36 kilometres from Hanoi in the Clean Industrial Park.
  • Developer’s confidence: Ben Ding Khoon Yew, general director of Soilbuild International Vietnam, noted the project builds on the success of Spectrum Nghe An and demonstrates confidence in Vietnam as a strategic growth market.
  • Investment landscape: Hung Yen attracted US$530 million in FDI in the first five months of 2025 and hosts over 2,400 valid FDI projects with total registered capital of US$28 billion.
