The central exchange rate was held steady Tuesday at VND 25,236 per US$1, unchanged from 8 September.
Meanwhile, Google’s mid-market rate was VND 26,387.50 per US$1, while the black market mid-rate stayed at VND 26,965 per US$1, a 2.19 percent premium.
Also of note:
- Repos: Sharp reduction in SBV liquidity injection. 7-day repos fell from US$509.1m to US$37.9m, 14-day repos from US$357.5m to US$75.8m, and 28-day repos from US$492.1m to US$113.7m. No 91-day repos were rolled.
- T-bills: No issuance.
- Interbank rates: Overnight fell from 4.7 to 4.4 percent, 1-week from 4.8 to 4.58 percent, and 2-weeks from 5.13 to 4.7 percent. Longer tenors were steady to higher, with 6-month rising to 5.88 percent.
