Note however that, South Korea’s Samsung accounts for almost 20 percent of Vietnam’s exports. Furthermore, other big South Korean firms like LG and Huyndai also do a large portion of their manufacturing in Vietnam. Taking this into consideration, and maybe looking at what share of US imports from Vietnam belong to Vietnamese companies would likely tell a very different story.
