Business confidence in Vietnam improves in Q1 2024: Eurocham

Eurocham and Decision Lab have released their quarterly business climate index for Q1 which has found a slight increase in business confidence. The index recorded a score of 52.8 up from 46.3  but still well below the all-time high of 86 recorded in 2016.

Of note, new in this report was a ranking of upcoming regulations respondents believed would impact their business. Top of the list was the Power Development Plan 8 followed by the Pharmaceuticals Law, Land Law, the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and Direct Power Purchasing Agreements.
